Teaching Philosophy

I pursue a career in education because I want to make a difference. I am seeking this degree because I wish to have an impact on the next generation. My role as a future educator is to assist others in discovering their abilities and interests. I pursue this profession because I wish to instill in my future students the value of education. I want to persuade them that education can lead to greater prospects. Education provides direction. You cannot better your lifestyle or acquire global knowledge without education. Education fosters self-assurance and facilitates the evaluation of one's own qualities and ability. Job, social, or economic concerns, or even people, might make it hard to find a purpose. Nevertheless, this ambition is attainable with education. Early persuasion about the value of education helps a person plan for the future and choose a course that will help them improve their skills and compete for their dream job. Students become acclimated to a productive and efficient environment, which helps them balance personal and professional life and keep the discipline needed to achieve goals. To impact the next generation and instill the importance of education is the reason I wish to get a degree in education.
Utilizing a variety of instructional strategies is essential for educational success. I believe that the seven forms of intelligence should be incorporated into education in order to reach all students. There are numerous types of intelligence, including spatial, body-kinesthetic, musical, linguistic, logical-mathematical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalistic. For instance, we can use naturalistic intelligence to grow a plant while learning its characteristics and life cycle for a project involving photosynthesis. The instructor can then explain the ties that geologists, florists, and farmers have to the cultivation of various plants and their responsibilities. In addition, I believe that interaction and group work in the classroom are optimal for student learning. Students will have the opportunity to express themselves, feel comfortable and learn from one another. Because I intend to become a teacher in the future, one of my primary goals is to incorporate a wide variety of hands-on activities into the classroom, such as active learning, group projects, and investigations. I believe if students actually do something, they are more likely to remember it. Technology will also be utilized in the classroom for educational games, virtual field trips, instant student feedback, the creation of digital content, the utilization of the classroom calendar, online work and activities, and the incorporation of videos and other forms of multimedia into presentations and lessons. In order for students to begin practicing applications that will be useful in the future, they will have the ability to take notes, produce presentations using PowerPoint, and engage in online discussion forums.

To assess student understanding, firstly, I believe that students do not deserve zeros when it comes to grading. To begin, I do not feel that students should be given zeros as a grade when it comes to assessing their level of comprehension. Even if a student does not turn in their work or forgets an assignment, a grade of 50 is better than a grade of 0 because it allows the student an opportunity to make up for their mistakes and improve their overall grade. My job, is to help others, not make them fail. In addition, assessing student understanding will involve many different approaches. For example, students will have the option of working with worksheets, completing projects, or giving presentations. I will design grading rubrics for the students to utilize, and I will evaluate their work both individually and collectively. Throughout the course of the school year, there will be a variety of activities, including reading, developing projects, engaging in critical thinking, and taking exams. In addition, I think it's essential to have one-on-one conversations with students in smaller groups to go over any issues, problems, or questions they have regarding the assignments they're working on. This allows the students to get feedback on their work while also giving them the opportunity to provide input.
I will enhance my teaching by observing my students and measuring their performance in class. If I see that a significant number of students are having difficulty, I will go back over my lesson plan and make any required changes. Speaking with experienced teachers, attending community meetings, enrolling in online lessons, and using the Internet for research and ideas, are all excellent ways to improve and acquire new skills or strategies. As a future educator, I intend to make it a priority to develop my teaching skills and look for ways to make learning more enjoyable.

Furthermore, I will know that I have been an effective teacher if I am consistently searching for new methods to enhance my lessons and putting those improvements into action. Also, setting deadlines for myself, giving kids and their education top priority, and making lesson plans would instill confidence in me that I am an excellent teacher. The greatest indication of whether or not I am successful as a teacher is to watch how my students develop over time. Because of the improved student engagement, communication, grade improvement, and overall advancement, I am able to evaluate the quality of my teaching and assess whether or not I have been successful.
In conclusion, my objective is to educate the following generation. Our future rests on the upcoming generation, and I hope to influence and educate individuals on their significance to society. I hope to be the assistance students need and the person who helps them improve. The role of a teacher is to aid others, and that is what I want to accomplish. I will utilize various learning methodologies and incorporate culture in the classroom to achieve this objective. To establish an effective classroom, I must first provide learners with a comfortable environment. I will teach students about respect and camaraderie among their classmates and extend a warm welcome to everybody. As a teacher, I will have the best job in the world and thus be able to take advantage of the opportunity.
